A Familiar Voice In Ward 4
I was elected to the Oakville Town Council (Ward 4) as the Town Councillor in 2006, re-elected in 2010 and re-elected again in 2014. In 2014, I secured 59.1% of the vote.
For 12 years, I worked hand in hand with Councillor Allan Elgar, the Town & Regional Councillor. I have continued to maintain a knowledge of current Town issues and continue to live in Ward 4.

My Platform
Responsible Financial Management
As a Chief Financial Officer of a major Health Care Corporation in Ontario, I will ensure that the Town is run as a ‘Highly Financially Controlled Corporation’. To maximize the use of Town Funds and to minimize daily operating costs. The Town must continue to be run like a business.
Protecting Green Space
I will work closely with all members of Council to prevent unwanted development and to protect green space.
Developers Paying Their Share
I will work to ensure that all devlopers pay their full share of our costs of growth.
Traffic Calming & Safety
I will promote further enhancements in traffic calming by way of more digital speed reference monitors, especially adjacent to school and senior home zones and Oakville’s three BIA areas.
Supporting Cultural Events
I will delegate to the Budget Committee so that the Town provides more funding and facilities for more Cultural events to support the changing diversified population of our Town.
Listening to Residents
I will listen carefully to the wants, needs and local issues of the citizens of our Town and do my very best to have these fulfilled and or resolved.
Preserving Oakville's Vision
I will do everything within my power to ensure that the vision for Oakville of the late Mayor Harry Barrett is not forgotten. His vision being: ‘Oakville is a City, calls itself a Town and acts like a Village.

I was the Chairman of the Board of The Oakville Humane Society. Now known as The Oakville, Milton and Halton Humane Society.

Community & Professional Experience
ILC/EDS Charitable Foundation
For the past 10 years and currently, I am the Treasurer and Board member of the ILC/EDS Charitable Foundation. A Charitable Foundation that provides funds and services for adults and children that have EDS. (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome-it weakens the body’s connective tissues). Very painful.
Canadian Taxation Consultants
I currently operate a Personal & Corporate Income Tax preparation company: Canadian Taxation Consultants. Formed in 1987.
AUDIOMAN
I operate a Sound Reinforcement company ‘AUDIOMAN’. We provide live sound production for many Town events. Friday night Jazz at Town Square. Lake Notes. Bronte on Thursday nights. Canada Day entertainment at The Bronte Legion, local tribute bands and many more. My sound crews are busy all year round.
